I'm selling my trusty Canon 1Ds Mk I camera. I've owned it since may of 2006 and it takes wonderful pictures but it's time to let it go as I recently purchased a 5D. It comes with all the items you see pictured in the gallery as well as the original neck strap. It works great and I'm not aware of single problem with its operation. According to an application called 1dcount, it has 9181 shutter actuation's with an expected shutter life of 150,000 clicks. It's barely broken in.
I never used the camera as much as I thought I would so it was stored in a padded camera bag for most of the time I owned it. Included are: The camera body and body cap, The original box, the leather hand strap, the original battery and 3 aftermarket batteries, the original battery charger, the ac coupler and adapter that fits in the battery case when it's used, a 1 GB compact flash card with case, eos digital solution software disk, the 1Ds instruction manual, the 1Ds software manual,
I've never had a single misfire with the camera. The only weird thing that happened a few months back was I noticed the viewfinder seemed loose when I looked through it. I had it repaired locally at a camera shop ( they do great work ) and it is now back to normal. The prism was repaired and adjusted and the camera was thoroughly checked out and got a clean bill of health. The repair was $235. This was done on July 7th.
The camera is in fine condition with some wear marks on the bottom and a few very small spots of paint missing from the Key symbol, Menu and Select button labels on the back. The hotshoe shows a little brassing as well.
