p.1 #1 · exporting from LR

Have a question for you folks about exporting images from LR to a file. I am having a heck of a time. I just went back to Apple from a Windows machine so I'm a bit rusty and just wondering if there are any specific commands for me to do this.

Once you've made all your edits in the Develop module, go back to the library module, enter grid view (press 'g') and select the picture (or all the pictures) you want to export, and then perform your export by either going to File > Export or pressing shift+command+E or clicking the "Export" button at the bottom of your navigator pane on the left.

Good luck!

In the dialog box that comes up, there's a drop down called "Export Location" - specify your desired location there.

Maybe post a screenshot of your export dialog with the settings you are using...

Do you see where you can specify a location to export to.... where you can browse to a location to tell it to export to? You should be able to pick Desktop as a location. Then, if you want, you can also specify a subfolder at that location. There is a checkbox and entry area in the export form to specify this as well, right under the export location place.
