Hi everyone,
The time has come for me to sell my Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 L IS USM lens, serial no 36912. This is without doubt one of Canon's finest telephoto lenses! I love the lens, but I just don't use it.
The lens is mint, as it should be since I only used it about half a dozen times. It comes with the original hard case, Canon strap and leather lens cover, as well as the instruction manual.
I am also including a Lowepro Lens Case, an Op-Tech Hood Hat, and an Acratech Arca-Swiss style QR plate!
I am willing to ship this world-wide, as long as you understand that I will not ship it until the money is cleared and in my account, no exceptions!
Because of the shipping charges, I expect this to be sold locally (in Australia). Buyer to arrange for pickup or pay for shipping and insurance. I am located in Wollongong, south of Sydney, and you can inspect the lens in person if you wish. I will also gladly help out with delivery to the local area, including metropolitan Sydney, the Illawarra and south coast to Nowra. I have bought and sold stuff here, POTN, Photo.net, Pixel-Shooter and elsewhere. I can also supply references.
To import only the lens (no extras) from B&H would cost you over $5400 AUD ($4700 USD). That is for the grey market lens, the cheaper option. B&H sells the US version of the lens for $100 USD more, but at the moment they have no stock of either!
