It has been a while since I posted here. Unfortunately due to work my photography has been put aside, finally though I am getting back to it.
I love night photography and want to do much more of it. This one is taken well and truly after the sun had set and is only illuminated by one light left on to the far right. I used my Nikon D200 with an exposure of 30 seconds and an aperture of f5. What do you think?
I like the overall composition. It looks like a nice sharp, detailed image that would benefit from being displayed LARGE.
A few slight improvements:
You might want to tone down the highlights a bit to recover more detail in the foreground statues.
The color balance seems a little off, a slightly too green tint over the whole image.
You might want to correct the barrel distortion visible in the prominent horizontal lines of the building.
Composition is nice, but I wish we had a bit more of the fountain pool.
Appears a bit bright, oversharpened to me. Sky doesnt appear quite real; probably color balance and a bit of oversaturation. Agree with the other points above

Thanks. It is over sharpened, I did this for the internet so it cant be resized easily. The sky looks that way because it is night time but yes I clipped the highlights in the fountain. I may try redo this photo.
The sky looks too purple to me and the picture looks a bit too light - I think darker and less saturation woudl be better. The framing would be better if it had the whole pond in front. Perhaps more leveled.
