p.1 #1 · Syncing Ipod help

Hi, I have two different computers and one of the computers I used to sync my Ipod nano using Itunes. On my second computer I have a different liberty that is not synced with my Ipod. I want to put my music files that is on my Ipod on my second computer's Itunes liberty. Can this be done if so how can you do it? Thanks in advanced!

I think you would have to move the files from the 1 computer onto the one you want to copy them to using some kind of portable drive or network connection(slower way to do it). Then import into iTunes.

I think you can only sync your iPod with 1 library.

I keep all my music on an external drive that gets backed up periodically or when I buy new songs. I also have a small USB drive that I take with me and also use at home. That way my "working" library is always with me. The only trouble I sometimes have is forgetting to back up all songs to my backup drive.

ipod rip

I believe bmushrush is right that you can only sync your ipod with one library, but you don't have to sync your ipod with any library. You can manually control which music you put onto your ipod, from any number of itunes libraries/computers. Just check the box in your itunes set-up that assures syncing will not occur automatically, then drag the songs you want from your library and drop them into your ipod.

If you have a Mac, you can use senuti to transfer songs from your iPod to your computer. With a PC, I believe ipod2computer.com say they can do the same. You can also enable or activate (I can't recall the exact word) up to 5 computers for any single itunes account.
