It is hard, but you've done really well.

A thought for you. The photos' on their own aren't special. However, you've got three good photos that together in a 3 photos series side-by-side would look great.

Great series. I have been meaning to try out seamless white bg shots but no space and no patience yet.

thank you all the for the comments.

for those that might be interested in the lighting set up

I used an AB400 on a boom pointing down on the background metered at f9, ISO100, T 200

1, 3 and 4 I used a ring flash, on 2 I used an AB800 with a large octabox from the front and up pointing down.

one problem I had, was the shadows. Would that be avoided by not lighting it from above?

also, you can see a bit of light falloff on the bottom corners. I guess I just needed a second light for the background.

And Andre: you are correct, you can only get 5 mins tops of their attention before the get tired of it...as you can tell from #2.

If your shadows were below the children, then yeah. I use 2 photogenics with beauty pans for main and fill, the background is lit by 2 more on the left and right with a soft hairlight from above. But then again, If you did those with minimal lighting, good on you...they look great!

2 grabs me even though I do not like how it seems as if the floor goes from the bottom left to the middle.
