Here is one of my son in the neighbor's baby pool. He just has such an intense look on his face. I'm not usually a tilter, but he just seemed to fit in the frame better like this- especially with one arm out like it is and one behind his back.
Took it with a 5d and 50mm set at f1.2. The only real photoshop I did was bring out his eyes a little more with dodging- they were pretty dark. I try really hard to not make them look completely fake when I do that.
hey liz! i see what you were going for here, but i think it would have been more effective without the tilt. the tilt definately confuses me when i look at this photo. i am trying to place him and figure out where horizontal is.
also, it looks a bit green and underexposed on my monitor. cute expression.

Also....there is a POV illusion that appears as if he is missing his left arm.
I like it and the tilt, I prefer it though when I turn it 90 degrees CCW.
I'm sure the colour is by choice some times thats the colours that were there and hey thats what you've got. Nice pic, I'd pump up th contrast but most wouldn't like it
