If anyone has a D3 and a Zeiss 100, I would really appreciate a posting of 3 specific samples for comparison against my setup. Here is what I would like to see.
Please shootthese at f2.8
A full frame image with a subject at infinity near the center of the frame. The Infinity subject should have detail like a window on a high rise or a crane. This image is just to set the scene.
Image number 2 should be a 100% crop of that infinity subject with the lens set at FULL infinity stop.
Image number 3 should be the same as number 2 BUT, instead of at infinity, I would like to see the "1" from the "10" meter focus scale on the lens aligned right between the F22 and F16 DOF scale on the lens. Closer to the F22.
I am checking infinity on my D3 with the ZF lenses.
