p.1 #1 · Visible Dust = Cool!

I just got my Visible Dust Arctic Butterfly Brite and Sensor Loupe 7x and my sensors are clean. There are some persistent small dust spec but it is a lot cleaner than the wet clean. I really like this product because I can take it with me anywhere and will be able to clean easily. Give them a try if you haven't. The D3 sensor is a pain in the butt - maybe I should buy the D700 just for the sensor shake

just make sure to Never ever touch the area above (top of camera) the sensor. it loaded up my brush with shutter lube and took me 8 swabs of frustration to remove te lube from the sensor cover

a True pain in the butt

+1 If you do, clean the brush in denatured alcohol, other wise you will transfer some nasty gunk onto the sensor. Also, contact Visible Dust and they will send you a replacement brush.

Yep. A $2 brush on a $1 electric toy motor. Clever packaging sprinkled with BS =$109.90. Talking about profit margin...

you won't give this up will you? for me, it's a bargain compared to wet cleaning costs or $60 trips to the dealer once every 4 months that some people do.

I just got the LensPen SensorKleen, and it is seems to be a great product. I had some serious dust built up on the D3, and I was able to get it totally clean in about 2 minutes.

I have one of the Original SensorBrush, and both of their cleaning fluids. Got oil on my sensor and using both fluids to clean the sensor and my brush and things were as good as new.

Visibal Dust makes great products that work. I do a lot of lens changing and would go broke having some one else clean my sensors.
