Anyone interested in bokeh comparison between the following (rather different) lenses?

Canon 70-200 f/4 IS
Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 Macro
Sigma 50 f/1.4
Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 I
Minolta Rokkor 58mm f/1.2

I compared them at several apertures and the zooms at minimal and maximum focal length.

The comparison between the following lenses:

Canon 70-200 f/4 IS
Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 Macro
Sigma 50 f/1.4
Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 I
Minolta Rokkor 58mm f/1.2

I shot the photos and cropped them. I used auto toning in Lightroom to compensate some exposure differences. It's about bokeh, so some photos aren't tack sharp.

Interesting. I'm surprised how nice the bokeh on the 50-150 is...it's very pleasant. I'm curious as to why there is so much noise. It's excessive, even in these web reduced images, and the EXIF says they were shot at ISO 100.

I like this one especially when I scroll so I don't see the front of the table. The water bottle looks like it is surrounded by water. Nicely done.

The bokeh of the 50-150 is very creamy indeed. The reduction is not much. The originals are about 900x1500 or so crops. But I used standard raw-jpg conversion in Lightroom without added noise reduction, so maybe that's why there is still noise left.
