Probably any of the later Epson models.

The Epson 4990 or the v500 or v600 and certainly the v700/v750 models.

The first three older models can be had for <$250

FWIW AFAIK the only real advantages of the most expensive models are speed of scanning (both in complete scan time and in the ability to batch scan). I wish I could justify a nice scanner like one of those...

I believe the v700 does allow wet-mounting, which is theoretically capable of better results, but would be too much hassle for me. I'd recommend the v500.

I assumed hr meant , was the negative scanned , or was it wet printed and then the print photographed.

thanks for the reply, and time! I am such a noob at this, and so used to digital, that film is so much advanced than I thought, but of course it is the granddaddy! I am really curious, and digging the film, and medium format scene!

Thank you. No, not a Polaroid. Fujifilm Neopan Acros film was what I used to make this image.

What made you think Polaroid?

i am so unaware, so i jumped to conclusion based on the size, and i think that Polaroids are smaller than full sized, and i forgot to think crop, or anything else! thanks for the response, and correspondence!
