Anyone looking for the Nikkor 14-24 can find one new at Newegg.com. I have no affiliation with them but needed another toner cartridge for my laser printer. Saw a link on their site for camera and lo and behold they carry only one Nikon lens and its the 14-24. Go figure.
Be careful with nikon and newegg. There a great company but it's not clear if they are nikon autharized dealers. Last year i nearly pull the trigger on a D200 but called them up to inquire about warrenty etc. They could not confirm if the camera they sell is US or grey. The warrenty they supply is there store warrenty. Check and call to make sure. They are always very curtious direct. I'am not in anyway bashing Newegg (I've built 4 computer systems from scrath with parts i bought from them). They are the B&H of the computer world but make sure you're getting what you think your getting.

+1 To my knowledge they are NOT an authorized dealer.
I've bought camera stuff from Newegg before. A couple years ago the camera stuff was outsourced from an actual photography supply company but the name escapes me. Don't know if the source was a Nikon authorized dealer back then and maybe things have changed now.
I live in Seattle where Amazon is located so I get nailed with tax so in the end the cost with free shipping is more than just buying from say BH Photo w/ no tax. Do you guys in other states get hit with your local taxes if you buy from Amazon which isn't located in your state?

Nobody else gets hit with Amazon tax EXCEPT New York will start next year I believe.
I'm in Seattle too and I love amazon prime, hate paying taxes on amazon purchases. They don't even ship from Seattle!
