Wow....I’m really surprised, Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS USM is still $5399.94 and in stock…how do they do this? What a great store.....

Yeah, I noticed Canoga is pretty much the only reputable place that has NOT increased their prices since May 1st.

Too bad they do not seem to ship to Canada.

It is a great store -- my first and usually my last on-line stop when in the market for new gear.

I bought my 17-55 2.8 IS there and they were great. Recommend them for sure.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been very happy with their service in the past and going the extra mile.

Problem is that they are in CA and so the cost of the lens for folks from CA is the same as B&H

They likely had it in stock prior to the price change.

Just know their return policy:

No full refunds (if any) on special orders, closeouts, quantity purchases, large transactions of $5,000 or more, goods exchanged for prior return, or purchases for industrial, commercial, or resale purposes.

AND

A MINIMUM 10% restocking charge will apply to all returns accepted that do not fully comply with the above conditions.

So if I purchased a Canon 16-35L II or a Canon 85L II and I had a bad copy and wanted an exchange I wouldn't lose any money minus shipping?
Thanks

Yes, I believe so, but not so with the 500/4L

Only ones that will charge shipping only on a return is B&H, Roberts Camera and Beach but not always.
Paying extra can pay off when you consider 10% min anyway.

You forgot Adorama, and many others I am sure, that allow 14 day returns of full price less shipping.
