OK so I had this idea awhile back. Let's see what your FIRST post looks like.
You can post up to three pics from either your first post or whatever you can dig up that's close to your first.
What's amazing to me that in a period of One Year I went from these to what I do now....
I may be wrong, but I think I've improved
I want to thank Time Kuhn who brought up the same Idea on my 2000th Post
I recently received a PM from 74chevelle454 Chad with the same idea
(Sorry Chad.... It's actually 72Chevelle454.. Blame DaveinLA he started it)
Here are three of my early posts. Maybe not my first but definitely close to it.

Frank you're killin' me. We're in the same boat here
Ok Ihave the shot of my 1st post...well since the body and lens is the same I still think this shot rocks
Wait that's said actually... http://www.pbase.com/nellotodica/image/94922415/original.jpg
If this was not my first post....it's close. This was with the $150 70-300mm lens. before I knew what WB, F Stop, ISO etc even was. I think I shot this on full auto. Funny I can remember the exact place he was when I took this.
Hey Mark, that is funny that you say you can remember the spot you took the shot, I have that job in my memory everytime I look at my older stuff, often remembering the weather of the day too. That must be where 'photographic memory' comes from And that shot must have made a very proud moment for you too!
Anthony, thanks for the idea for this thread -- it is interesting to go back and look at stuff from almost 2 years ago to see what it looked like when we first got into photography.
OK, it took some searching, but I did find my first post.... It was on Dec 22, 2007 at 11:09 AM. I had almost left FM due to feeling totally unwelcome in another forum here. Then I posted these in the same forum, a last desperate attempt..... Someone suggested I'd post these here & so I did....
Good idea for a thread. I haven't been actively posting for long, however these from Costa Rica were included in my first post (on the nature and wildlife forum anyways).
Oh gosh, they are all so good, and I have only this past few weeks acquired my first digital SLR and I'm still very amateur, I don't even know the lingo yet.
I have only posted once, I feel a little out of my depth, but I do realize that I can learn allot from all of the C&C.
Here are a my very first pictures, and don't laugh.
Here are a few from those early days after I got my 10D. That was about the time I discovered this forum. IMHO, my work has improved significantly thanks to the input and advice from the wonderful folks on this forum.
