Hmmmm. I don't think #14 looks like a happy face. I think she's had enough of the paparazzi!! Another fun series, Harsha. Where did you see your lions in trees? Were these in the crater? We saw them up in trees in the Seronera and Ndutu parts of the Serengeti, but none in the crater.
#2 is the best of the bunch, though. That one belongs on a wall.

The lioness in the tree was taken in Nudutu area of serengeti.
Thanks for the comments.

These images are stupendous.. I like # 10. I think you caught a "Big O" in the mating series. These are not the run of the mill images.
Thanks for taking us along.

I am amazed with your Serengeti collection Harsha. So many excellent keepers you are having. Every post regarding your African trip keeps getting better. All shots are very, very nicely captured and processed.

Jude, Thanks for the kind comments. Are you from colombo?
Harsha
Lion does not have any say in the matter. Lioness decides the time and when she is ready, takes the appropriate position. Then the mating starts which last for few seconds at a time.

Sure is an amazing lionfest. I see you must shoot a lot to get a collection of decent keepers. Nice work, as usual. I'll be looking for this family in about two weeks when I'm there.
Thanks Jeffrey,
This is my first trip to Africa. All these came from that trip. I consider myself lucky to get these shots.
