Lion does not have any say in the matter. Lioness decides the time and when she is ready, takes the appropriate position. Then the mating starts which last for few seconds at a time.

Harsha #8 is such a unique shot... very dramatic! I love it. My second choice would be #12... a very tender shot. Very fine work Harsha as usual.
