Sure is an amazing lionfest. I see you must shoot a lot to get a collection of decent keepers. Nice work, as usual. I'll be looking for this family in about two weeks when I'm there.
Impressive shooting Harsha! #7 and #8 are out of this world! it's amazing to see how the rain can add such a dramtic feel to the shots! can't take my eyes off.
These are absolute gorgeous shots, very well done indeed.
I just returned from a 3 weeks holiday in South Africa, of which I spent a small part self driving in Kruger NP and we did see lots of lions. It was thrilling to encounter lions all by ourselves. Hopefully will get round to processing and posting some pics soon.( BTW your 600mm f4 is amazing, its talking to my cheque book right now!!!")

I commented before you had them all up, I really like the feel in number 8. Good job. Thanks for sharing these Harsha.
Hi Rob,
Thanks for stopping by. I also like #8. When this was happening the rain was pouring down and the others were putting away the gear . I decided to take the risk to capture this and I am glad I did that.
Harsha.

Hi Anthony
The Lioness in the last shot got tired of the flashing cameras from all of us. I like the smile however.

Harsha, I don't quite know where to start on these. I keep going back and looking at each one of them. You have captured some incredible wild shots here, some intense moments and the feel of the shots with the rain in incredible. Wow, just excellent for me. Favorites being....................most all of them
Karl
Thanks Karl. These lions are so used to humans that they completely ignore you. They can be right next to you but to take a shot of them looking at you is not easy.

I've really enjoyed your posts thus far and these are no exception. They're getting me cranked up for my trip there this September. Conditions may not have been favorable for #8 but it oozes drama, a great wildlife shot.
Thanks Reko
Good luck with the trip. You will love it. PM me if you have any qestions

Hmmmm. I don't think #14 looks like a happy face. I think she's had enough of the paparazzi!! Another fun series, Harsha. Where did you see your lions in trees? Were these in the crater? We saw them up in trees in the Seronera and Ndutu parts of the Serengeti, but none in the crater.
#2 is the best of the bunch, though. That one belongs on a wall.
Jay
The lioness in the tree was taken in Nudutu area of serengeti.
Thanks for the comments.

These images are stupendous.. I like # 10. I think you caught a "Big O" in the mating series. These are not the run of the mill images.
Thanks for taking us along.
