p.1 #1 · Help!!! - 10D will not turn on

Didn't drop it or do anything to it that I feel would make it stop working.

I tried it with several different batteries.

It will not light or turn on at all.

Took some great photos. then then next day I tried to turn it on and it would not work..

Any suggestions before I send it back in?

Do you have a battery grip? It happended to me twice and my guess was loose battery grip connection. Try operating your 10D without the battery grip and using the camera's battery compartment (don't forget to install also the battery compartment door)

Try to insert the CF, if you have the settings that prevents taking pictures without one

You also have to make sure CF door is closed. If nothing seems to help, I would take it to the service.

Arniea - Don't have a grip - Tried all three of my batteries and they all didn't work.

Arhi - Thanks - I tried several and it didn't work either

So, I sadly called Canon - and it is in the process of being shipped to NJ for repair.
