This batch of photos was from last Sunday.

I hope you all enjoy seeing these, I really enjoyed photographing these amazing birds working on building their nest.

All shots taken with the Mark3 + 500mm lens with 1.4x at 700mm & 2x at 1000mm

Awsome shots. You got the Exposure, Clarity and Background perfect. It is such a great set( I am repeating myself) and I cannot pick favorite.

Chad, these are great. 2, 5 and 11 are my favorites, but they are all excellent. I am sure it is a real treat to watch them interact like that building the nest. It looks from these pictures like the female heron is doing all the training so you don't have to!

Great series Chad. I like the details you captured on the undersides/shadows. 10 made me laugh for the absolute lack of grace. Well done.

Nice Chad 1,7, 9 with 9 being the winner for me. Just love the detail under the wings and the full spread "So to speak" Great job on these

PS. Lou we have a nesting pair of osprey very close to where I work, I will try for some photos in the next couple days, they are on a light pole, go figure

From what I understand it is very rare to have these in Michigan. so what a great opportunity for some shots.
