p.1 #1 · FINALLY, had the 400 5.6 out

I received this lens several weeks ago but between weather any my schedule it hasn't seen much light pass through it. Finally, things came together a bit yesterday and here are some results...

1) Turkeys down the street

2) Sometimes they just won't turn around!

3) Hey, look at me!

4) My first BIF. You guys who do this so well amaze me.

5) Birds always look so graceful but they do have their moments. Splits anyone?

6) Whataya say Ralph, shall we blow this popstand?

I think this is going to be a fun lens but as people mentioned during my researching, it is going to take some practice.

Thanks for looking.

Shot #4 is a tough capture for anyone given the size/type bird so you're off to a good start. The 400 f5.6 is a great lens and a lot of fun to use.
