Hello,
I had the opportunity to shoot the NCAA Hockey Northeast Regional in Worcester, MA. Lighting was marginal and very uneven. If interested you can see the images at www.allstarimaging.zenfolio.com They were shot using a Nikon D3, 70-200 2.8, ISO 2000 at 3.5,
Shutter between 1/640 to 1/1000.. I use this zenfolio site for storage I like the way the images display on the slideshows. Any way enjoy the shots and any feedback is welcome.
Jack, I really like the images of the championship game. The timing on some of them is outstanding. My favorites are #17 because of the action in the shot and #49 because of the puck on stick timing.
BTW, I looked at the other galleries too. I figured the hockey photos were so good I'd like to see more. Some in the golf section were fabulous. Was the 300 2.8 used for those?
Hi Rich,
Thank you for the feedback. Yes, on the golf the 300 2.8 was used, however, i also had the use of a 400 2.8 for the weekend as well so there is a mix. By the way timing can be easy if your at 9 frames a sec. (I only use occasionally because I try not to spray and pray)
Jack
