p.1 #1 · cameras per person, not per family!

I just thought of this today, while taking kinda trivial pics with a professional camera: Back in the old days of film, most people I knew (not professional photographers) had a camera, and that was it. Now, everyone has several cars, and TVs, and cameras, of course. True? let the polling begin!!!

I always had several 35mm SLR cameras since 1977, and up to 6 working 35 mm SLRS in the 90s, not to mention other formats. 3-4 DSLRs are enough now.

dSLRs: 1DIIN, 1DIIN, 1Ds, 20D
P&S: Kodak DX3900, Agfa ePhoto 780
Cell: 2 Motorola Razrs
Other: Olympus W10 voice recorder/camera

The Razrs and Olympus are worthless, even by my 9 year old agfa ephoto 780's standards.

I'm still looking for a film body...

On an unrelated note, this thread got me thinking that I should do a comparison between the razr, ephoto780, dx3900, 20d, 1DIIN, and 1Ds just to see how they really do compare....

Currently still in my stable:
1Ds3
40D
1NHS (last used 2002)
T90 (last used 1999 but incredible sentimental value)
Then of course the iPhone.

Canon EOS 5D, 20D, A2, Minolta Vectis 2000, and a busted Minolta X9. And the 5D is not technically mine yet, but i get to use it anyways.

Too many to count quickly, going back to an old Exacta 127 roll film SLR and an Argus C-3. My favorites in the bunch:

40D (welcome to the 21st century)
Olympus P&S 35mm with a really nice 35(ish) to 100 zoom range
Rollei SL35's and lenses
Rollei Twin lens

40D, 20D, Fuji Finepix A240 and A420, Olympus Camedia something or other for underwater/SCUBA photos (the housing was uber-cheap and this P&S camera has custom WB)

Oh and my phone does have a camera but that doesn't really count as a camera does it?

Is the question about the collecting dust museum or the camera that are used day to day. If it's like car or computer, I had many, but currently I'm using only one and get rid of the others.

30D, G5, and my cell phone (junk). My fiance has some lump of crap Sony Cybershot, but that doesn't even qualify. She's like "it has 10 megapixels" or however many it has. I say "10 bad megapixels".
