# 1, and 4 are my favorites of this very nice set, Tim. I would send some of our sunshine to your place, but that comes with hurricanes, high humidity, mosquitoes, and crocodiles.
Socrate

P.S. You would probably get an Egret or two also.

Thank you sir, I had to talk real nice to that sparrow.

I can't stand the humidity but I would like a couple of egrets!

#1 & #4 are also my picks as the best from a group that's all very good! The bush hawk seems to be a good investment for you! Thanks for posting these! Bill

Bill, thanks for the kind words. Oh I love my BushHawk, been pimping these for a while now. They are a nice simple solution.

Very nice shots Tim, favorites are 1 and 4 in this series. If Socrate sends you some sunshine, I'll through in a few feet of snow to really brighten things up!

Good use of the cloud cover, nice diffused light, quite a nice mallard shot! Good job on the second WCS, pleasing. What a beautiful feather pattern on the chest of that Gadwal, very neat. Good stuff, keep having fun!

Doug, glad you like them. As hard to believe as it is we are supposed to get snow tomorrow! Not feet but geez what a rough spring.

Karl, thanks for the compliments, I'm glad you like them. I too like the mallard. I'm having a blast and plan to get back out there as soon as I can.

Well done Tim.

1) I especially like the gadwall. I don't think I've captured one of these. Nice Pose
2) Well hey > It's a female mallard
3) Number 3 looks like it could use a tad more sharpening and DOF. The eyes look pretty
good but the rest of the bird and end of the bill are a little soft.
4) Has that over sharpened High ISO look in the BG
Maybe more noise removal to the BG and a bit of blur added would clean it up. I will
ad a bit of gaussian blur to the BG and like the look as long as it's not to much.

Anthony err Mr. Whitmore,

1 Thanks
2 you dog
3 well I shouldn't have posted that one, should have thrown it out. I liked it because the feet were hidden, this little guy was so cranked hopping around, he was sliding around like a little kid. Your too kind.
4 Maybe I should have blurred the bg, thanks for the idea. I didn't sharpen it though. You keep trying to bust me on that! How many times have I explained to you how to selectively sharpen?? And then you don't think I do it. Your a funny guy.

Thanks for the honest C&C my freind! I always welcome it and try to learn from it.

Laura, thank you for the compliment. Yes the light was not the best but it was nice and soft, just not bright enough.
