p.1 #1 · Finally my real water drops

I finally got out and did some well thought out drops, lots of pre planning ( i did this at school in the Holography room, which is bascailly a darkroom)

I was using a Canon 30D - 60mm Macro. used a buerette from the chemistry rooms and floraciene (sp?) for the color

used my keen sense of timing

and a 580exII on camera @ about 1/32-1/64th power

ill post some more later i am on the run, tell me what you think

and Mr. Skarr if you are out there... tell me what YOU think

Hey it was well worth the wait! Great shots, nice and bright...at least the color ones. lol

Awesome. Really like the drop pattern in #1 and #3. For drop shots I think being centred is better.

Danny,

These are cool. Let's see, the 580EX II at 1/32 power is about 1/1900s and at 1/64 it's 1/31000s - good example of using the flash duration to stop the action. I agree, the B&W almost looks 3D or CGI.
