I've never used a chat room in my life.
Instant replies are nice. I often consider email and forums to be very slow in terms of response time. Plus, it's nice to chat about anything - you can carry a more casual conversation there and invoke humor that's enjoyable since everyone gets it at the same time.
1-on-1 chats are 99 cents/minute and additional connection fees may apply.
I wish it was a little more advanced. I keep seeing people connect and disconnect from the room and I will also notice that on my side, the page eventually stops refreshing after a while, so you have to do it manually.

Maybe an upgrade is in order?
Fred was in there a few hours ago, And he said it was still in the testing stage and there are a few bugs that need to be sorted out.
It will be interesting to see if this is used. I have never seen any of these make it shortly after their introduction. Most people just stay in the forums...perhaps FM will be different.
