Nice shots.
nahh.....no crying here....just wanting some feedback and would think with 200 people looking a few would at least comment ....and thanks for the compliment, even if i did have to twist your arm!

well, they aren't exceptional examples of concert photography. they look like snapshots from the nosebleed seats with a long lens. there isn't much to comment on, to be honest.
but i am impressed you got the long lens in there..."is that a 70-300 IS in your pocket or you just happy to see me?"

Tough crowd, indeed!!
Yes, some fast glass definitely helped in this situation.
In addition, I think the From-way-above angle is just not a pleasing one at all - so you had that working against you. If they could've been shot more straight-on, you'd probably have some shots you'd be more happy with.
Thanks for sharing them with us, and keep posting!

I would have tried to get the subjects out of the center of the frame..
Also, some shots in "landscape" orientation might have afforded you a chance to get some of the faces in the admiring crowd. This would have certainly added som effect.

It has been my observation that posts that actually include a picture get more comments and replies than those that supply a link. I suggest posting a picture or two, - the ones you feel are best, or the ones you most want a comment on - and a link to the rest. Few people will comment on a gallery full of pics - there are just too many.
