Early this morning I stuck my head out a window and cranked up the ISO to 2000. (The last one at 3200) I used a noise reducer on all, but even so, the MKIII can handle these high ISO settings better than I would have imagined.
Oh Maggie these are just great, pretty darn colorful for such low light and the high ISO looks very good with your help.
I think #4 was going for a 'high five' from you! Great work, nicely presented, did that last one have anything to do with a thread by 'Jody' ?
Great shots, Maggie. Indeed, the MkIII does handle those high ISO's well. They are all very nice, though #3 and #5 are definitely my favorites. These put a smile on my face. : )
Nicely done, Maggie! I think the MkIII performance at high ISOs is just amazing. An ISO 3200 shot on a MkIII can actually look better than an ISO 800 shot on the MkIIN. I haven't tried yet to compare the performance without noise reduction to ones with, but the only downside that I can see for using the noise reduction all the time is that you can't quite shoot 10 fps - which is not something I do very often, if at all, anyway!
