After 50 years Dryden Flight Research Center has been renamed as the Neil A. Armstrong Flight Research Center.
Would Neil have wanted this to be renamed? I don't think so.
Congress and the Senate spent time on getting this renamed just a few days out from Sequestration....
The lone Democrat to speak, Rep. Donna Edwards (Md.), noted the irony in the vote. “We will do our renaming today,” she said, and then “we will take an ax hammer to NASA’s budget on March 1, at the end of this week, taking out $894 million from an already strapped budget. I dare say future generations will not be inspired by what this Congress will do.”

The weather could stand to be a bit better though. Visiting an old friend yesterday, fairly appropriate the rain and the vultures in the area I guess. More when I am not running around.
