Well my oldest turned 16 yesterday and goes for her driving test tomorrow! That should just about cover everything important in her life right now.

My second born girl is 14 and starting softball practice.

My 10 yr old son talks about Lord of the Ring Lego's every waking moment (except when he and I get out to burn through my meager stash of .22 ammo).

And last, but not least, my 7 yr old girl is wishing she was as old as her sisters and thinks that "Life is not fair".

I am a blessed man because of them and because I have a wonderful wife to help keep them (and me) pointed in the right direction.

Hi Leo:

I didnt realize you had a boy in the mix - I thought you only had 3 girls. Better not let Nadya hear that!

We are all just enjoying growing up together. Maya - about to turn 3, Sammy - about to turn 5, and Paige - about to turn 8. The daddy daughter dance is coming up in two week and they're ALL going this year. Scary!

Jay, what prompted you to get rid of the SpyderPro2 (was it problems with the new displays as Rodolfo mentioned?) and switch to the ColorMunki instead of the SpyderPro4?

Hi Mark...

1) Windows 7 Support .. or lack thereof. While the SpyderPro 2 was working on my Win 7 desktop, it would not install on my laptop after I migrated from XP Home to Win 7.

2) Good deal on a bundle for the "Display" model Munki + ColorChecker Passport.

So, it was simplifying to one solution for two machines and a good deal that I couldn't pass up.

Funny Jim.

I'm looking for something to get me from Boulder to Crested Butte with some regularity....While I haven't flown SEL for some time, my rating is sitting there waiting to be used. Tiring of the 4 hour drives and itching to fly something made of metal that is louder and not as pretty as the Duo Discus.

Actually, I have to edit my opinion on the Piaggio aesthetics. I've been giving it a lot of thought, as I do most assignments prior to their execution. The side perspective doesn't light a fire for me, nor does a low head on view. I've been imagining ways to maximize the lines of the design in the air and I believe that varying views from slightly above to looking down on the Avanti, with sunset and post sunset light and shadow wrapping around the fuselage, accompanied by two (overrated) big full discs pushing it along, will be quite beautiful. Shooting the aforementioned scenario while flying fairly tight 360's in the evening sky should provide a plethora of very beautiful images. Having a pair of them in a nice formation should be cool as well.

There just might be an opportunity to do all of that with more Avantis, only with the landscape of China as a backdrop. More about that later.........Oh Gunny.............want to ferry the 25 to Bejing?
