Jeff, I'll try my best!

For now I'm going through my old 'The Last Time' folder from 2010 as I didn't edit most of that folder yet! Found this one and thought a rougher edit might do it good. What do you guys think? How can I improve this shot?

Reno this year can be summed up in these two pictures from Saturday night. Strega pit, cowlings are not even off, Rare Bear pit, everybody scratching their heads trying to figure out why the Bear is running hot. Some weeks after the races the entire Rare Bear crew was fired.

Still cleaning sensors. I can tell you that the wands with the pec pads wrapped around them and the Eclipse solution are one door away from completely worthless. I got all the sensors clean enough to do what I have to do this week, but squeaky clean they are not. My visible dust stuff should arrive in a couple of days. I should have kept my inventory up.

The Buy & Sell on this forum is incredible. I posted those two Canon flashes, they were both sold to the same gentleman (in Dallas) in five minutes. I'm handing them to him on the way to my Airbus shoot in the morning.

Can't decide whether to hold off upgrading my 300 & 500. Seems like the 200-400 is going to fill those gaps, at least the 500. Who knows when that will hit the street though. I'd like to get it in this year's business.

Glen: it would appear the lighting was perfect on day 2

great shots. Guessing theyre using one of the greens from Multicam for the Chinooks.

Jeff: Sewer pipes or not, you are getting that panning down great!

5D3 looks to be producing the goods.....

Tried my 1Div on the weekend......man its a step up from the 7D....mind you I should qualify that because I was using my new 70-200 IS II on it as well.....

Guys got a question,...
When i got my 300 f2.8. It has a drop in lens marked "gellatin" in it.

Does anyone use drop in filters in these Lenses

, if so what do you use ....

, or do you use nothing ??

I know you can buy CPL for it, but given Ive tried CPLs on other long lenses & the sky goes spastic from one side of the pan to the next...forget CPL s for my action shooting.

Hi Al,

I have a couple of polarizers in the drop in component, but I haven't used them for years. I think I have UV filetrs in all the drop in's. Personally, I wouldn't spend the $$ for polarizers in that case.
