It's a never ending job, but the right direction is always a good thing. It's been 2 years since my mom passed, and I am only just now getting some things around the house pointed in the direction they once were. It takes time, but we all get there in time in our own way. God tends to sort the rest out

Amen Brian, It's been 4 years since my dad pasted, 2 yrs since I moved to a good job (from an ugly one) in another state, bringing mom with and so on but you know you are right "it takes time"! I could whine about all the trials and tribulations (as you or many others could) but it's all about the journey. Time helps us refocus and move forward again, having faith help too.

Tonight's plans were to work on the basement, putting it back together again after the water damage from storms. Instead I just got home from the ER because mom had slurred speech, confusion, tingling in her hands. Thankfully she is having a drug reaction and not the obvious first thought, stroke. And tonight's lesson is again family is today's project, the other stuff can always be tomorrows work.

Thanks Liz, and sure, I'd be honored if HFF used them. I can understand why you'd be too busy to take photos

Beautiful photos of 'Grumpy' on the ramp at Dayton NightOwl Cat! Would you mind allowing HFF to use those? We always seem to be too busy at events to capture the adoring crowds that airplane draws ;D

Is that a real Z? I ask because all 69 Z28's came with rear bumper guards. Yours are missing.

Either way it is still a great car.

2010-2012 Camaros have no GPS. The 2013's has some kind of screen in them but I do not believe it has GPS. Don't know about the Mustangs.

Or the vintage look.

@Tim - I love that vintage look for "Innocent Rascal". Reminds me of the quality time I spent in the late 60's and early 70's at Beeline Dragway in Arizona. The Gassers were some of my favorite cars - always on the ragged edge of control. This Willys Coupe is an absolute classic.

Did they have any front engine rails running at Byron?

BTW, terrific job of panning.

Jeff, I keep going back to this one to admire it all over again. Really nice work, moody and powerful.

The rental car companies all like to charge you about $10 a day for the aftermarket GPS systems they install in some cars. I don't know about built-in systems. I suggest you get a good data plan for your smart phone or tablet and do your navigating with that; it couldn't possibly come to $10 a day, on average, and you'll use it for everything else while you're here, too.

There were a couple, nothing that looked too great though.

Sharp!

What's wrong with LHD?

Do you get to keep the California plates? They just look right on a car like that...

Steve's advice is best Al. JUst use your phone. It's a straight shot out of the north DFW gate to HQ. I'll send you a GoogleE map of it, but you won't have any trouble at all.

Beautiful car Buddy, enjoy! That's back when men were men and cars were really cars. Only a couple of car manufacturers have noticed that if they bring something to market with todays technology and yesterday's nostalgia, they sell all they can make.

I might have my (non-working) ride in October when you come. Think "Bond.....James Bond"

Good Afternoon Lady Jo. Yes, we're in the process of solving that need as we speak, but fear not, "HQ" will always be "HQ". JR and I had a discussion about that over the weekend and I made it really clear that this is my little spot, Glenn and I worked hard, built our friendship, putting HQ together, I love it, love to close the door and Photoshop away, love everything about it. I've daydreamed about looking through the french doors and having my vision blocked by a beautiful 51, I could just see it sitting there actually. You know how our blessing/curse as visual people is that we can see things others can't. Well maybe, just maybe, that vision will become reality. I guess we'll just add "Polishing Saturday" to "HQ Thursday", and we'll have a rockin' backdrop for our family portrait.
