and found this in wikipedia:
"Despite the absence of brown recluses from the Western U.S., physicians in the region commonly diagnose "brown recluse bites", leading to the popular misperception that the spiders occur there."
Is Arizona Western US?

Brown Recluse, are here in New Mexico, I can take you to one, right now.
Now the problem, is there are a lot of people out there thet think we use Pesos, here in New Mexico, or require a passport. I just tell them thet, We are one of the States of the "Four Corners".....

@Randy... there's more than luck at play there. The perfect vapor cone around the F-18 does have a lot of luck involved in it, even if you're doing everything else right... but you've still got to be doing everything else right. The "streaking" Hornet is gorgeous, and quite a few of your other shots are excellent. Better to be lucky than good? Sure... but that doesn't mean it's all/only about luck.

@Paul... we're going to miss you, buddy. Take good care of yourself, and let's hope that (a) it really was misidentified, or (b) you get lucky and it doesn't do much more than get red and hurt a lot. Those particular bites can potentially be very bad news indeed, so I understand your cancelling the trip.

In the mean time, we went to a concert the other night. No cameras allowed and seats that caused nose bleeds. So tried something off beat: A cell phone with a little Zeiss monocular held in front of the lens.
