gugs Offline Image Upload: Off p.1 #1 · Very short winter... Last year, we didn't see any snow and didn't have a real winter where I live... It has been freezing for two days (normally tomorrow, everything will be gone). This could be one of the shortest winters we've had here. I first thought I wouldn't be able to take any pictures (based on what I saw yesterday and this morning, see first picture), but later in the day, the weather improved. I did not take my normal camera equipment with me because of the weather and I shot with the D40x+18-200VR/105VR I usually take with me just in case. btw I know I have some dust on the sensor (I cleaned it in the meantime, I still need to PP a few pics where it is visible - only one spot in fact) Here are the pics... #1 this was supposed to be my only pic just to show that I was not able to take any pics... #2 around noon, the light was beautiful and the sky was blue... #3 not much snow, but everything was frozen #4 ... #5 a bit later in the afternoon frozen nature #6 perspective #7 frozen house and frozen river... #8 my favorite winter landscape shot #9 just refrshing Thanks for watching.... Normally all the snow and ice should be gone tomorrow morning when I wake up... we'll see if the weather forecasts are reliable or not....
