Contax 100mm F2.8N Makro Converted by Conurus to EOS Mount
Bo-ming converted the 100/2.8N to the EOS mount about 6 months ago. The functions on a Canon body just like any other Canon EF lens. Auto focus works, auto exposure and complete EXIF data. The 100/2.8N Makro is an exceptionally sharp lens. Focus is dead on with my 1Ds2 - and the focus can be micro adjusted! Bo-ming's includes a micro AF adjustment just like Canon's. This accomplished by putting the lens in a maintenance mode with a set aperture/button routine. I never need to do it because the AF was perfect from day one. I would not be selling this lens except that I've decided to shoot exclusively with medium format, so all my Canon equipment will be sold over the coming month.
The lens is $1500 including shipping and Paypal within the U.S. A 100/2.8N off Ebay will cost around $1000 to $1500 depending on condition; the conversion is about $500, plus shipping expense to Canada and back - and the process can take a couple months. The price is firm.
