Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, sorry if it isn't.
As you can see i have a few 'special' characters in my username. a . and a white space. I received the message that i got a pm and by following the regular link, i got the following message:
FYI: Your username cannot have special characters.
I can't reach my message via that link. i have to use the link provided in the E-mail i received. I never noticed this before, i've received more PM's on the fm-forums. Is this a (new) bug or am i doing something wrong?

What happens if you try the FM url

Yeah that works. that's the url provided in the mail (with a lttle addition to the corresponding pm).so i can still read my PM's, but the link provided in the forum itself does not work. guess it's the whitespace mmh? IE replaces it with a %20, nevertheless it does not work that way... I never had any problems with this, just recently...
Odd, the space in my name is replaced by + when going to my PM Inbox or when I choose Edit Profile from the forum and also in e-mail notifying me I have PM...and IE7, under Windows XP Pro, doesn't replace the space (+ for me) with %20 when I click the link in e-mail to visit the forum.
Sounds rather odd...you might report what's going on to Fred.
Solved... I have this problems on my work... i shouldn't browse the fm-forums there, i know, i know.. :worried: apparently they have altered something in the proxy, which disables whitespaces in the url. I do not have the problem at home
