p.1 #1 · laptop connection to a tv?

Hey everyone,

I am getting a tv that will display full 1080p. Laptop resolution is 1920x1200. What is the best way hook it up to get the best picture out of it

DVI...but TVs make terrible computer displays.

Yes, tvs look horrible. No matter what the resolution reads tvs are not made for close up viewing.

If you have DVI out of you computer you just need a DVI to HDMI cable if the TV does not have a DVI in port. It can make a good monitor for some things. My son uses our high def TV and a wireless keyboard and mouse for on-line gaming and likes the setup for this purpose.
