p.1 #1 · Beware PK to EOS adaptor woes

I've had bad luck with two Pentax to EOS adaptors and I would like to give you all a heads up. The first is,
http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-29392-2357-0?uid=23408218&site=0&ver=EOIBSA080805&lk=ItemDescriptionANDimage&Item=330162391499
This adaptor is very thin, .020" thick and made of aluminum. Any medium to heavy weight lens will be too heavy and will visibly sag.
When I received that adaptor the focus confirmation chip had separated from the adaptor. I tried to contact the seller about the problem and received no response.
The second adaptor was sold from a US vendor. It is a Hartblei adaptor. The first one I received would not attach to my Pentax lens. I sent it back and received another. The second would not fit as well. I had to machine the adaptor and remount a locking pin to make it work. It works now but the adaptor is very loose and the lens twists too much.
Has anyone had good luck with Pentax k adaptors, especially with heavy lenses?

This is the one I bought and it works perfect with my Pentax 50mm 1.2 lens.

No issue here and it focus fine at infinity.

Hope this helps
