Does anyone here have Miller's do the color correction? My monitor's are calibrated, but there's always a subtle difference. My guess is it has more to do with screen brightness than color. Anyway, I haven't tried their color and tone correction, and I wanted to see if anyone's had experience with it.
I let them do the color correction. To be truthful, I've never run my stuff through with them NOT doing the color correction, but I've done that with other labs, and found that it is still inconsistent enough (probably due to chemistry batches, etc.) that I just go with the lab color correction. I find that sometimes, the density is perfect, and other times, they are too dark. It depends on who is running the machine.
I use Miller's, so far they have been perfect every time... And the customer service is the best I've encountered. I bet if you tell them they were dark they would fix it.
