Time to trim the kit. The lens is in pretty good shape, with some very minor paint chips. Glass is great. UN (1999) date code.
I'm only looking for a local (SF Bay Area) sale right now so the buyer can see/check the lens and I don't have to pack/ship it. $3100.
No original trunk or cr@ppy lens cap. Included is the Kineses bag that holds the lens alone in shooting position, or in hood-reversed position with a body attached. (I think it's the 311.) For caps I use two Pyrex-type lids (a $3 value ) that really are great. One for use with hood on, the other for the lens itself. Better than the factory stuff ...
