After spending an excruciating day on the internet trying to figure out what new cpol to buy (Hoya has like a zillion and no store can seem to get the differences straight, they each give you a different answer depending on whats in stock) my new hard case has come in. Wow these things are kewl.
We have been using Pelican's for some time but I ordered an HPRC Amre1600BW. Wheeled with a protective bag with dividers inside instead of pick and pluck foam. I am so happy with it I am ordering a 1550WB tomorrow for my carry on!

They are running some pretty nice promotions this month.
Now back to the CPOL dilemma. I should just buy what I know and that's B+W. Anyone know if the ones shipped out of China are any different than the local dealers? I mean seriously, it's like half the price compared to what my dealers are offering my locally. *sigh It's just money I guess and I can't wait two weeks either.

Thanks for the heads-up Rene, but no - not this time. It does look very much like my style of shooting/processing but their staff photographers have been doing that lately. I suppose that’s a compliment….
Go with the B+W – you know you won’t be sorry in the long run. (Hey, it's only money )
These cases are really cool, I just spoke to the distibutor and will order a few in the next couple of weeks.
I may even melt my pelicans in support!
