I was at the warehouse express "1D Mark 3 and AF" seminar today. I had high hopes but it turned out to be a sales manager giving a 40 minute presentation of the entire Canon DSLR range then an overview of the CFn III technical documents available on Canon's website. No new information other than it does appear firmware 1.1.1 is very AI Servo related and is due at the end of September. No more information available.
I don't know what to tell people who have trouble shooting in oneshot. I have shot in all kinds of conditions from low light cool overcast days on the coast to high 90's full sunlight days to night shots and nearly ever shot is spot on and the ones that aren't are my fault. I am seeing maybe 1 in 100 OOF in single shot and I can't recall a center pt single shot ever being OOF which is what I use if I want to make certain I get a particular shot.

Those two cameras you guys have are very valuable, right away, send them to canon and ask to have them annualized ASAP. maybe they can get some answers from the results for the rest of us.
PS would you mind sharing some of your results with us?

Here are aseries of pictures taken in One shot with the exception of the surf shot these were all taken with various glass from 35L 24-70L and 70-200 with 1.4 ex and with out. These pictures also demonstrate sunny days, cloudy, inside and ouside, and various ISO's All Exif data is intact
