It is sharp with no focus problems. It was back-focusing in the beginning but instead of returning it I just drove down to the Canon Center in Irvine and had it checked out. They diagnosed a PCB mounting error during production and replaced it. They also added a speck of dust on the back lens, but no big deal. The focus is spot on now.
This lens in immaculate, no scratches, no dents, no dirt, smoke-free owner. If you still need to see pictures email me.
