I have a 24-105. It was my everyday walkaround lens. About 4 months ago I bought the 17-55 and I haven't used the 24-105 since. The f2.8 on the 17-55 has really spoiled me. I am the original owner. I bought it new last year. It has a date code of UT1004, that is after the flair problem. It is in pristine condition. Comes with hood, pouch, maual, front and back caps. I really hate to sell it, but, I also hate having it sit in my drawer. $925.00 covers paypal fees, shipping and insurance. You can let me know.
Thanks,
Tom

I have brand new 24-105 with date code UV. I just bought 5D kit with this lens and since I already have 24-70mm 2.8L, I'd like to get rid of it.
It comes with both caps, blank warranty card, lens hood and soft pouch.
Asking $920 (shipping included).
I have Paypal and I used it a lot till I got screwed recently. Their buyer protection is BS and I will not pay their fees any more. By the way you're covered only "up to $200" (and it's up to them how much they'll be willing to cover). I paid $175 for the item that was damaged and I got nothing.
If you think it's a safe way of payment than I can go for it if you cover their fees. Let me know if you would like to see some pictures of the lens.
Thanks,
Paul
