It's the world's best and most numerous collection of natural arches. Carved out by almost all the forces of erosion (except stream), each is unique and fascinating.
Here are two interpretations of Arches N.P. (Utah, of course).
Scanned from slides.
No processing except adding a little saturation to bring back the color that was lost in scanning.

Thanks for the comments, gentlemen.
I mis-spoke -- the first shot is looking through Turret at South WINDOW Arch.
Carlo: the first was taken in the afternoon, certainly. Other than that, I don't remember the hour. As to the time of year ... probably late autumn.
Both were taken several years ago.
