It's been a while since I've posted here but finally have some new material. Spent 3 days in Yosemite and was rewarded with some great photo opportunities. Met and shot some with Jim Fox and also met and had dinner with Nelcha, Allen, and Xavier from the FM-Nor Cal group. I understand there were many other FM participants there but I didn't have the pleasure of meeting them. As many of us that were there you're probably going to get your fill of Yosemite images!
Just a wonderful set, Randy!
Each one got better and better! Tha atmosphere in 2 & 3 are just extraordinary! 2 is perfect for b&w, and the green you kept in 3 really sets the whole image off! 4 is simply spectacular!
Really nicely done!
Wow! You guys must have had a grand time based on these images. Indeed they did keep on getting better as I viewed them right down to the spectacular last image where the light you caught was amazing. Nice work on the blend.
really great series, randy. especially good and original perspective on bridalveil falls! only one small critique: i wish the falls had been centered between the two stands of trees. other than that, great work!!

Many thanks Barry! It was grand up there, so much variance in the light and weather that there were endless photographic opportunities. I had a great visit there, meeting and talking with others that frequent the FM forums. I ended each night with a big smile on my face.

Gorgeous stuff. I like the 3rd myself, there's just so much to look at. Winter wonderland up there...
Thank you AJ! It was a wonderland up there. One day everything is covered with snow, the next day it just about all melts away, then the next day it starts snowing again. Crazy for most but wonderful for a photographer!

Hi Al,
I don't think any photographer that was in the park the last several days could possibly have been disappointed. It was just unbelievably beautiful and the variety of looks with the weather changes was just incredible. Unfortunately you can't been more than one place at a time.
Thanks!

Thank you Derek, appreciate the kind words. I could well have a shot that centers Lower Yosemite Falls for between the trees, good point. I see you're from Sedona, Az. Being retired now I plan to finally tour and photograph some of Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. Perhaps I could impose upon you for some suggestions and pointers regarding your area.
