What do you all think about using a 20-35L as a normal zoom on a D60? If photodo is right, this lens is optically better than 17-35L through all its range. It is a better 20mm than Canon 20mm F/2.8, and it is a better 30mm than my current 28-135. Any input about color quality, distortion and CA, please.
I used to use this lens on my old eos-1, 10 years ago, it was superb. I have slides that will blow your mind! Not sure how it holds up with a digital body. I keep hearing conflicting test results on 10D, D30, D60, 1D, 1Ds. You don't get USM though, like it's important, but it is really fast. I see them go for $500 - $600, of course, at the time I spent $1350 on it...
