The interest of this photo is purely architectonic, anecdotic and documentary,
but I have wanted to show it in the forum because it seems to me an evident demonstration that, sometimes, advertising slogans can be reality.
"Spain is different" is an old slogan with which the Ministry of Tourism
of my country promoted during long time the same one. After seeing
this superb and incredible church, considering that is located in a
population of hardly 3000 inhabitants, I wonder myself if it will not
be truth that Spain is really different...
Yes, Spain is different allright. Boy howdy Javier, the treasures and landmarks and magnificent history of your country is amazing in light of the few years we have been here in America.
Beautiful image, even if you deem it anecdotal.
Thanks for sharing. To think of the workmanship, craftsmanship and art involved in that structure.
How true you are. Spain is ... Spain.
The design of this image is delightful. The parapet on the right and the grass on the left leading into the church. A nice anchor with the young tree ideally placed. This image is a fine example where converging lines need not be corrected, unless one wants to ruin the magic of the shot.
Excellent work, Javier! Your Ministry of Tourism should put you to work!!
Love the perspective; it really enhances the architechtural grandeur of the church!
And another place to put on my list!!
Very strong and empowering architecture made more grandeur by the angle you've chosen us to view it at Javier, a powerful statement this image makes. The bold sunlight and clear sky help with this as well. Well done!
