Or just highlight the layer with the object you want and hit

Control + T (PC)

Command + T (Mac)

And you can free transform away.

Kevin, This is the most practical thing I have found on this site since joining. I want to thank for your generous donation to other photogs for this really wonderful tool. Good job!

I have Elements 3 as well and I can't open the folders either. They show up in Elements, but there is no way to view whats in them.

Same here. I can't get any folders to expand in PSE 1, 2, or 3.

Has anyone gotten this to work with Elements?

Kevin,

Great tools, and just what many of us have been looking for to properly document our lighting setups.

My shooting area is 10x20. Is there a way to setup the base grid to show a larger area and possibly to allow the user to add fixed walls or other elements on the fly? I'd be thrilled with just with larger fixed dimensions, but floating walls and a larger grid for accurate rendering may be helpful for others, too.

Not only are you photos amazing, these diagrams are just awesome. Thanks for such great work and dedication. I think we should start a stick with "Lighting Poses" like the "1-light setups" and just have a sticky with: 1 photo, and diagram beneath. Kevin, I cant say how cool this is, keep it up.

One suggestion, not really needed. Different size lenses? I know you could just note what FL it was, but it would be UBER cool if you could different size "L" on there, hehe.

There are some cool things on the net and then there are some way cool stuff. This certainly falls into the last category. What a great idea, one which I would have gladly paid something for. I would at least consider a paypal contribution if you don't want to sell outright.

Here's a workaround for Photoshop Elements users:

Download and install GimpShop[/url]. It's an 8Mb download and totally free. Be sure to follow the instructions in the readme.txt file to finish the installation. Once you have it installed open LightingSetup.psd and Save As another file name. You can then open it in Elements and all of the available symbols will show up as separate layers which you can turn on and off via the Show Layer (eye) icon. As an added bonus, you now have a very powerful image editing program that is very similar to Photoshop and is completely free of charge!

I downloaded into PS7 & have no problems as Kevin said just select the eye, then move & rotate.

Kevin I think on your next project you could probably find a couple dozen business partners venture capital available pretty cheap. Don't sell yourself short.

Save it, Unzip it, and open it...you'll see all the layers
