Laugh out loud

I shot a street festival on the weekend and there was a photographer giving out his business cards to anyone walking by. I therefore took one and took a look at his website. I went to his equipment area and found that one of his cameras was a 22MP canon 1-series. WOW!

One would be a typo...11 and 22 are easy to screw up.
08 and 16 are slightly harder to mess up.

If we go based on what I can enlarge to, then I've got a 48MP 1DIIN camera

I e-mailed him as well, here is what he told me.

"Hi Allan,

Yes, you are right about those spec. of equipments. The double pixel count than the original one (i.e 16 vs 8) is because we do computer interpolation from raw, and due to the high dynamic range and super image quality from Canon 1 series bodies it is not significant to tell the difference. Of course, we use very pro software to do this job. You can compare the interpolated 1Ds file (22 MP) to Phase one’s digital back (22 MP) and you cannot tell the difference!
