vicags Offline Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #1 · Airport/traveling question I am going to Mexico in a couple weeks and plan on taking my 20D. Can anyone tell me if it's okay to have your equipment scanned by the airport people ? I seem to remember reading something that said not to have your equipment scanned and to have them personally check it instead. I appreciate any info and thanks in advance. Have a great day. Antje Offline Dedicated FM Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #3 · Airport/traveling question The only problem I have at some airports (my home airport Nürnberg is one of them, unfortunately) is that they can't really make out what's in my bag, especially when I'm carrying the 300/4 or the Peleng. It's the metal... Usually, I have to unpack my bag, get searched, and have a bomb swab done. No kidding. It's fun if you aren't in a hurry, that's why I come *really* early. KIDERAL Offline Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #4 · Airport/traveling question The only issue I have ever had is with a monopod. The South Bend Airport would not let it be carried onto the plane. Other airports had no problem. I find that the screeners only deal in buzzwords... Therefore it is important to use words like authorized camera equipment..... etc... Feb 22, 2006 at 03:06 PM
