p.1 #1 · Any rebates processed yet?

So I checked up on my rebate and it has moved passed internet and mail submission all the way to "Processing". Pre-qualified mine and sent in the paper work on Nov 5th so this seems pretty fast to me considering Canon's past performance. I guess it could still take 6 months to go from "Processing" to "Approval" and "Mailing".

Anyone else's further along? Anyone got a check yet? (ha, that's wishful thinking I'm sure).

I sent mine out on Oct. 20th. The web still shows at first step.

Still waiting on mine from the summer. They sent partial and had me resubmit it again because they messed up.

Mine has taken a month to move from internet to mail submission. I'll bet that's where it'll stay until next year.

Bought an A95 and pixma for gift to my friend. Submitted 1 week before deadline - rebate check arrived yesterday!

How do you submit your rebate on the web?

It is explained on the form. You cannot "submit" on the web, just pre-qualify. You still need to send everything in.

The possible advantage of the "pre-qualify" route is that you enter in all the data yourself and then at the end print out a rebate form with the info and your submission number in barcode form. Presumably this greatly reduces the likelyhood of entry error on their end. It doesn't prevent them from screwing it up a hundred other ways presumably!

Pre-qualified on 10/22. Just checked and they have 11/8 as the date they got my mailed-in materials. That's about right because I waited a while before getting around to mailing the stuff in. Don't know when they updated the database to show me in the second step, since I haven't checked in more than a week.
